1941 – Present February 1941 Watsontown Trucking Company (WTC) established as a coal delivery company with a single truck. 1958 WTC applies for and is granted limited PUC authority to transport goods within several counties of Pennsylvania. 1980 WTC now operating 6 trucks and 10 trailers in Central Pennsylvania. February 1993 WTC applies for and is granted ICC Contract Carrier Authority. April 1994 Steve Patton joins WTC as general manager. WTC operating 9 trucks and 15 trailers. 1997 Steve Patton becomes owner of WTC. Pictured are 3 generations of WTC ownership. Company now operating 125 trucks and 300 trailers. October 2012 WTC grows fleet to 250 trucks and 750 trailers. May 2013 Patton Logistics, LLC, is formed to provide freight brokerage and capacity management services. June 2015 Patton Warehousing, LLC, is formed and purchases an empty 200,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Milton, PA. 2016 Patton Warehousing expands and now operates 750,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space in Central, PA. 2017 Patton Warehousing expands to the state of Ohio and purchases a 200,000 sq. ft. logistics center in Columbus, OH. 2018 Patton Warehousing now offers indoor rail car unloading services in Milton, PA. November 2018 The Patton Logistics Group purchased 86 acres land for future development in Milton, PA. 2019 WTC opens logistics center in Roanoke, VA employing over 100 drivers. January 2020 Patton Warehousing expands to the state of New Jersey and takes over the management of an 800,000 sq. ft. warehouse operation. February 2020 WTC is now operating 425 trucks and 1200 trailers throughout the US and Canada and is recognized as one of the largest trucking companies in North America. March 2020 The Patton Logistics Group expands again and begins managing 375,000 sq. ft. of logistics center space in Muncy, PA. April 2020 The Patton Logistics Group begins construction of a 250,000 sq. ft. logistics center in Dublin, VA. This logistics center will provide a base of operation for Watsontown Trucking Company and Patton Warehousing and Logistics. August 2020 The Patton Logistics Group announces the construction of a 145,000 sq. ft. logistics center in Milton, PA. December 2020 Dan Barto started with WTC in 1994 shortly after Steve Patton became GM. Here, 26 years later, Steve is presenting Dan with the keys to a 2021 Volvo truck. It’s people like Dan who have built The Patton Logistics Group into the premier logistics company in the USA. April 2021 Patton Warehousing building 143,000 sq. ft. warehouse: Milton, PA. August 2021 Grand opening of Dublin, Virginia office and warehouse. September 2021 Future plans unveiled for Virginia terminal. September 2021 We introduced our new company mascot, Watson, who brings the fun with him wherever he goes! December 2021 Patton expands into the Tarheel State, with a warehousing facility in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. January 2022 Patton Logistics Group unveils the addition of five Volvo VNR electric trucks to their Dublin, Virginia fleet. 2022 We rolled out Co-Packing Services and Pallet Washing as we continue to find new ways to support our customers needs. 2022 Growing by leaps and bounds, we expanded our warehousing property in Hazleton, PA to accommodate increased demand. 2023 In 2023 we continued to expand our local footprint and broke ground on an additional warehouse in Milton PA. July 2023 In July of 2023 we completed construction on our newest warehouse in Milton, PA bringing our total warehouse space to almost 5,000,000 Sq. Ft.
